SUPPORT GROUPS

Junction 12 works with the headteachers and pastoral care staff in four local schools (Cranhill Primary, Carntyne Primary, Avenue End Primary and Smithycroft Secondary School) to provide additional support for the young people who need it most.
Junction 12 staff run a variety of groups during the school term throughout the year. Most groups run in cycles of 6 weeks, but some will run on longer where there is a need to continue work.
Some of the groups include S1 Transition work, P7 enhanced transition work, Seasons for Growth, Emotional Literacy, Anger Management, Positive Behavior, Identity, Self-Worth and Self-Awareness groups.
These groups aim to give the young people the space to explore their opinions and behavior, learn about choices and consequences, and ultimately, encourage them to make positive healthy choices in all aspects of their lives and relationships with themselves and others.
